Here’s What You Must Know Before Buying Pressure Cleaners

There are several aspects that you must consider while purchasing pressure cleaners. Here is a look at some of those important aspects.

• Power Mode: Pressure washing machines in the Super Max™ series from Daimer® are most commonly powered by gas, propane, diesel, or electricity. Electric versions are currently popular due to their silent operation, compact size, and low maintenance costs/

• Temperature Options: Pressure cleaners are available in three basic variants based on temperature—cold water-based, hot water-based, and steam-based. Super Max™ 8900C-322 is a cold water-based version that is ideal for light applications. For challenging cleaning operations, tri-mode pressure washing units like Super Max™ 6000 are the best, which can generate hot water at temperature as high as 210ºF and steam temperature of up to 330ºF.

• Pressure Levels: Super Max™ pressure cleaners with pressure levels below 1500 psi are suitable for light maintenance jobs. Pressure levels ranging from 1500 psi to 3000 psi help simplify commercial cleaning operations. Extremely challenging jobs require the use of pressure levels of above 3000 psi.

• Flow Rate: Pressure cleaners in the Super Max™ range come with flow rates ranging from 0.5 GPM to 8 GPM. As the flow rate and pressure levels increase, so does the cleaning power. While auto-detailing applications benefit from low flow rates of 0.5 GPM, highly demanding concrete cleaning often require flow rates of 5 GPM.

Different combinations of the above aspects produce varying degree of cleaning power.
