Buying Pressure Cleaners? Read This Before You Do

Before purchasing pressure cleaners in the Super Max™ series from Daimer®, you must educate yourself about the main aspects, such as temperature options, flow rates, pressure levels, and power modes. Let us take a look at each of these aspects:

Temperature Options: Depending on the temperature of water ejected, pressure washers are divided into steam based, cold water based, and hot water based versions. For light cleaning tasks, cold water versions, like the Super Max ™ 8900C-322, are ideal. For more cleaning power and versatility, choose tri-mode pressure cleaners, like the Super Max™ 6000, that eject steam at temperatures of up to 330ºF and hot water at temperatures of up to 210ºF.

Flow Rates: Pressure cleaners in the Super Max™ series feature flow rates in the range 0.5 GPM to 8 GPM. For more cleaning power, opt for power washers with higher flow rates. While flow rates of 0.5 GPM will do for auto detailing applications or places where water must be conserved, you can opt for pressure washing machines with flow rates of about 5 GPM for tough jobs like concrete maintenance.

Pressure Levels: For light maintenance jobs, choose pressure cleaners featuring pressure levels less than 1500 psi. Commercial maintenance operations demand power washing machines with pressure levels between 1500 psi and 3000 psi. For the toughest jobs, you can choose power washers with pressure levels more than 3000 psi.

Power Mode: Based on your specific requirements and fuel availability, you can choose from the Super Max ™ range of pressure washers powered by electricity, propane, or gas.
